Cows present in good strong store to forward store condition, they are putting everything into their calves. Suitable to travel however Fit to Load Standards will be applied and appropriate spelling for travel of long distances.

These cows moved very well through the yards, into the pound and in the crush. Six of them became agitated in the crush and calmed down instantly once back in the mob. They walked calmly out into their paddock after the assessment.

Assessor Comments
Offering 8 decks of 144 young cows and calves. These cows range from 1 to 6 years of age and present in store to forward store condition, while doing an excellent job raising their calves. The cows were pregnancy tested by a veterinarian, with 53% PTIC and 47% NDP at the time of testing. However, as they are still running with Carabar Angus bulls, it would be expected that the PTIC percentage would increase with a later pregnancy test. All PTIC cows have been bang tailed. The calves comprise 60 steers and 84 heifers, and were sample weighed from 96kg to 229kg to average 159kg. A good opportunity exists for buyers looking to trade or build a breeding herd, with 53% of the offering presenting as 3-in-1 units. Vendor is also offering a run of the year older steers in the Yearling and Weaner sale, providing a good opportunity to view the future of the progeny.
