The cows handled very well through the yards with little to no fuss, normal flight zone and calf reaction. The odd cow will move freely when they see a gap and block up accordingly when handled confidently. The odd cow marginally stirred up at times yet settle well when in the mob. The cows behaved perfectly when back with their calves outside the yards and when driving among the mob for photos they were happy to graze out and mother up quietly and without any trot or anxiety.

Assessor Comments
147 x 147 D/M cross, D/M Santa x, Santa cross and crossbred young cows with their 2nd calf at foot running back with Angus & Red Angus bulls from the 03/03 until delivery. Young cows that are in very forward fresh to fat condition milking well with good quality recently branded calves at foot. The male calves are still recovering from the knife with minor residual swelling in some. A good line of predominantly soft red cows with the odd crossbred and colored cow putting their energy into their calves that are growing like mushrooms. Overall good temperament when handled sensibly as mentioned - very calm in the paddock when driving through them for photos they are well mannered and muster well. Cows av: 462 & calves 90kg. An extended delivery offer may be available if required due to the weather by prior negotiation. Take note 2 calves with a potential genetic defect - maybe a form of dwarfism - Please take this into consideration when calculating your purchase price.
