A line of 15 2nd & 3rd calving Watervalley crossbred cows with 15 Angus calves at foot, 411kg at assessment. The cows present as good forward store condition and the calves are very fresh and healthy. Cows are generally easy handling in paddock and yards with a bit of run. Cattle have been on fresh grass and clover based pasture and will grow on if fresh feed is available. Watervalley cows are well known for their ease of calving and good doing ability under most environments, they were Dectomax drenched, 7in1 B12 vaccinated on 27th May so are perfect to put straight out. Younger cows and calves have all the hard work done and will go forward with Spring feed soon available.
