The Mopoke cattle are the quietest cattle I assess. Low stress handling is practiced on farm and these cows behave accordingly. They are routinely run through the yards and their temperament is a feature. Two cows became slightly agitated when being mouthed but calmed after exiting the crush and returning to the mob.

Young Angus cows PTIC (3rd calf) to JT Angus bulls. These females are proven breeders and have reared big sappy 2022 spring calves that were weaned last week. Presenting in their working clothes these cows, are true to type and of sound structure. They were joined to high indexing bulls and will commence calving in early July for 56 days. These cow were purchased as PTIC heifers from the New England area, raising 2 calves in their time at Mopoke. A great opportunity to purchase fertile breeders entering their most productive years.
