Cows were a pleasure to handle in the yards displaying excellent temperament. 2 cows became slightly agitated in the crush when being mouthed but quickly settled when returned to the mob.

Assessor Comments
A quality line of young EU accredited Angus-sired PTIC cows. Cows are 3-6 years of age and present in strong store condition. Cows are PTIC to Gates Performance Angus bulls (Bull ID's ASRQ55, ASRQ79, ASR21S142) to commence calving mid August. Angus x Angus cows are bred from Ben Nevis & Rennylea blood females. The 2019-2021 drop cows have all calved previously while the 2022 drop heifers are pregnant with their first calf. Cows have been running on unimproved native pastures and have recently had their calves weaned (older cows) so will condition up quickly given access to improved nutrition. Cows were a pleasure to handle in the yards displaying excellent temperament. Older cows all have good sound mouths. Ideal cows to calve out in the spring and either retain as future breeders or to trade. Buy with confidence.
PLEASE NOTE: The vendor has another lot of PTE cows in this sale. 3 cows with old pinkeye scar in one eye (see media) and some cows show signs of rubbing due to buffalo fly.
