Assessor Comments
A nice line of 1st & 2nd calver Angus cow & calf units, comprising of 12 cows with their first calf at foot, & 3 cows on their 2nd calf. These young cows were purchased by the vendor as yearling heifers, in various mobs and joined to top quality TE MANIA Angus bulls. Cows present mostly very fresh in condition with only 3 cows lacking some fat cover, which is contributing to a lower weight despite being reasonable well grown. Cows are producing plenty of milk & nurturing their calves well. Despite their young age, the quality through the calves is evident, & they should really hit their straps coming into the warmer months of Spring. Cows have been running continuously with the TeMania Angus bulls since calving, however continued joining would be advisable due to the age of the younger calves. Calves are more even than the weight range would suggest, with 1 slightly older heifer calf in the mob. A great opportunity to secure quality proven breeders at the height of their production.
