Assessor Comments
A nice line of one-mark Angus 1st-calf units. These heifers are bred from a herd which is based on GAR & SAV ANGUS bloodlines, with a focus on selecting sires with high growth rates. Heifers are presenting in fresh condition, with medium to good frame & quiet temperaments. Heifers are starting to clean up in the coat, with some showing signs of rub, & would benefit from a backline to assist in shining up.Though the sires of these calves does not resonate with their PTIC description at purchase, the quality of the young calves remains evident, & these fresh calves at foot are reaping the benefits of the maternal traits of the cows, & they should really hit their straps in the coming months with the abundance of milk on offer from their mothers. A great opportunity to secure quality, proven breeders with a lifetime of production ahead them. Vendor has another line of 30 x 30 Angus 1st-calf heifers (sisters to this line), with same-aged, pure Angus calves at foot, also offered this sale.
