Cattle no problem to work with. Approx 3 heifers were agitated when confined in crush but settled later with 3 others not staying still but not stirred. All others walked on and stood while being weighed. Able to walk through cows and calves without issue at assessment.

Presenting genuine 1st and 2nd calf heifers (2 and 4 tooth) which are well grown and have well bred calves at foot by a Kidman stud bull. These heifers have been running with the same bull since calving. They are medium to large framed heifers and the calves are fresh and doing well on mum. They were good to work with in the yards with a few heifers wanting to avoid you but not stirry. They were born at the start of the last two good seasons therefore have had the opportunity to grow out and should end up large framed cows. One heifer showing brindle through coat (pics). The calves show that a quality bull has been used and he has had access to the herd since calving. The heifers weighed 548 kg's after applied curfew. One calf had a number of old leasions on shoulder (see pics) not appearing to be detrimental. Two heifers had a slightly glassy eye but in general, eyes are good. A nice line of Angus Santa heifers to have for many good breeding years to come.
