Assessor Comments
Shorthorn cross heifers and calves (1st calf at foot). Heifers have been running back with Red Composite Bulls since February. Presenting in strong store condition and doing a great job on their calves. These units are an ideal short term trade or to keep as breeders with many fertile years ahead of them. Only being sold due to property being leased. Heifers were originally purchased from a dispersal sale in Victoria as calves which have grown out well and calved down with ease. Cattle handled very well throughout movements in the yards, some heifers stirred when being mouthed in the crush but settled well when back in bigger pen. Calves were marked 29/4/24 Calf breakup- 7 steers / 9 heifers NOTE: Vendor also offering a 13x13 heifers and calves in today’s sale. NOTE: AWN can transfer NLIS tags at a fee of $3 per head, buyer must notify at point of purchase.
