Comment on Fat Score 1 Cattle
Heifers were run very tough throughout gestation to assist with calving whilst vendor was often too busy to check everyday. Kept on the side of a bare hill in the cold country. All calved unassisted and are carrying big bags of milk, putting everything in to their calves. All Heifers and calves are considered fit to travel reasonable distances provided industry best practises are observed throughout transit.

Lovely young mothers to handle throughout assessment. These young females are very accustomed to the presence of people, having been ridden around on a bike throughout calving. They are very sensible in the paddock, yards & crush, easy to draft calves off and run through the crush. Just a few doing some rocking on the scales (listed above as slightly stirry) These units would be considered safe and easy to handle by a stock person of any experience.

Young mums in their working clothes that were run tough throughout gestation (on the side of a bare hill) & kept fit & light throughout their calving period. All calved unassisted and are carrying big tanks of milk underneath them, putting everything in to their fresh, young, Yerwal Estate Angus L.B.W calves. These are beautiful, traditionally marked Simmental dams that have got their first calf out of the way with zero issues and are ready to be joined now to any bull of your choice. In their Winter woolies, these females will turn inside out at the first opportunity with a bit of feed underneath them. Perfect young breeders that are doing everything right, showing excellent maternal instinct, carrying plenty of milk & all calves looking bright eyes, healthy & well cared for. These females would suit to take on and retain as part of an existing herd, or suit a smaller scale operation wanting a few nice front paddock females.
