Temperament not assessed in Paddock
These heifers are spirited and fit, and were quite unsettled in any confined situation. In the yard prior to the force and even in the force they were quite ok, but once confined were tail twitching and looking for a way out. Once in the small holding paddock, their flight reflex is quite strong, however, the heifers have had no handling since purchase. None showed aggression, but they are not "educated" either. A little hand feeding, attention, driving around, and presence would be desirable.

Assessor Comments
A well framed lot of heifers that are joined to a very quiet Apricot Sarana Limousin bull. Despite needing a little education, these heifers represent a good opportunity for the discerning cattle person to put on a lot of weight and rear a good European crossbred calf. There are 14 Blonde d'Aquitaine heifers in the mob, and 2 Fleckvieh heifers. The older Fleckvieh is expecting her 2nd calf, and the younger one is her first calf.
