2024 drop PTIC Hicks Beef Composite × Angus heifers, pregnancy tested in calf for a tight 3-week calving period commencing early August 2026. Joined to proven low birthweight, high calving ease sires, Hicks Black Composite T1110 & Wormbete Black Simmental S20. These heifers display excellent weight-for-age and are in ideal condition for this stage of pregnancy. They are expected to mature into highly productive, long-term breeders, offering significant genetic gain for purchasers operating a self-replacing herd. The vendor has consistently selected leading, high-indexing Angus and Hicks Beef Composite sires, with a strong focus on Growth, Milk, Temperament, and Fertility. The Takajo cattle are noted for strong feedlot performance and repeat buyer demand. These females were originally retained as breeders for the Takajo program. However, due to their later calving pattern, they no longer align with the vendor’s breeding schedule and are therefore genuinely offered to the market.
