Heifers were run straight in to be weighed, with no ‘cool off’ period and a few were a bit anxious in the yards and crush as a result, especially after their last visit was to be preg tested. Very quiet in the paddock, happy to be walked around on foot with a camera. Then came out the gate when called from the bike.

Lovely lot of well grown females to take on. Boasting some excellent genetic lines, being majority Deepdale (Tallarook) bred, as well as Grifforan (Mansfield) and some Vendor bred. Deepdale & Grifforan are well renowned North East producers that present calves in the Premier January Angus weaner sales - always in the front lane, and always north of the 400kg mark. Heifers with the genetic potential to go on and produce top quality calves with excellent weight for age. Joined to L.B.W Table Top Angus sires, and presenting in ideal calving condition to take on - Vendor has also made a good habit of training heifers to come up for a few pellets as a treat, to make calving and paddock checks an easy process.
