These heifers were very good to handle and only got unsettled when their calves were drafted of for assessment. There were 4 that got fidgety on scales. Generally a quiet lot of cattle to handle.

Assessor Comments
A very nice lot of one mark Angus heifers with 1st calf at foot. A feature of this lot is the evenness and quality of the calves. These calves are by Millah Murrah Trigger, top price yearling bull at the Millah Murrah sale in ‘23 ($180,000) and sire of 4 yearling bulls at this years sale averaging $150,000. The heifers are putting everything into their calves and in store condition. The calves are fresh. Noticed 1 calf slightly lame at assessment. This unit will be withdrawn if lame at delivery. The cows weighed 476 at assessment after 2 hrs in yards. They are mainly medium to good framed with 3 Hfrs smaller framed. Observed 3 with slight eye scarring ( one eye).This presents a great opportunity to secure some high end genetics in these calves and the cows with all their breeding life ahead of them.Vendor introduced a bull into the mob about 10 days before assessment. Not confident that all cows have cycled again after calving. Purchasers option to have calves marked before delivery.
