Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Cows handled through the yards well when worked calmly and with good distance tho have the potential to fizz up if worked incorrectly and in high pressure areas, 1 cow became aggressive and protective of her calf when being mothered on foot. All cows where mothered on foot and worked well with the odd cow becoming stirry when cut out of the mob, settled back down when put with other cattle. Cows went through the race and crush well when being weighed with the majority standing calmly in crush.

Assessor Comments
A neat little line of cows and calves 5 to 10 years of age that have been running back with Angus & Ultrablack Bulls. Good quality moderate to large framed Western bred cows doing an excellent job on their calves with the Majority of the cows being #5's and younger. The calves are clearly reaping the rewards of a good season with their mothers providing plenty of milk, therefore they are doing well showing plenty of sap. These cows present as a good mob to grow the calves out and trade or equally would be a handy addition to an operations breeding programme. Please note 1 calf seen to have an infected navel (last three photos) and was treated with penicillin antibiotic and Tolfejec antiinflammatory at assessment. Please note same vendor has 7 x 7 brahman cross cows and calves in the same sale.
