Middle to mature aged, experienced females that have had plenty of handling. A few (4) were anxious in the crush, stepping on and off the scales and some pushing on the head bale, listed above as slightly stirry. All were much more settled in the yard and away from the confines of the race & crush. Sensible to let out of the yards, and easy to get photos & videos of in the paddock.

Proven breeders that have all successfully reared a calf every year, proving good fertility & sound structure, only being removed from the herd this year due to carrying an unfavourable trait (i.e. white flank, small eye blemish ect) These are extremely well bred females boasting 40 years of select Te Mania genetics in their pedigree. The Ardenside Angus Steers are always highly sought after by top end feedlots, having no trouble hitting those optimum feedlot weights (>450kg) at 14-15 months, and the Heifer portion have always attracted keen interest & many repeat buyers as future breeders, selling both privately & on Aplus. These healthy mothers will go on to rear many more calves, & offer an excellent opportunity for a buyer to secure some rich genetics, making them perfect females to use as the foundations matrons to build a herd on, and retain some top quality, genetically exceptional keeper heifers from.
