Assessor Comments
A nice, quiet line of Bayvista & Glenfern blood Angus first-calvers, with 1 second-calf heifer from previous years drop. These heifers are well developed, exhibiting good frame for age, with good temperament & conformation. They are producing a good supply of milk, which is nourishing the Angus sired calves at foot, which were marked & vaccinated at assessment (9 steers & 8 heifers). Heifers are presenting in fresh store condition & displaying a Wintery coat, with access to only a short pick of feed due to dry Autumn conditions, however they possess the frame & bone structure to put considerable weight on quickly with access to more abundant pastures or forage crop. Heifers have been running continuously with the vendors Te Mania Angus bull since calving. A great opportunity to secure a quality line of young breeders, with an even line of Angus calves at foot, Vendor is offering another a line of 25 x 25 one-mark, good quality Angus first calvers this sale also.
