These heifers were a treat to handle from the small holding paddock they were in, throughout the yards and in the crush. They are a real testament to the breeding and handling the vendor has put into this line. One heifer was agitated only while being mouthed, and quickly settled once let out of the crush.

An opportunity not to be missed! 17 top quality, vendor bred, Poll Hereford heifers, station mated to stud Poll Hereford bull "Bowen Downs Rocco". These heifers have length, with a good backline, show great depth of body, and have really nice pigment around the eyes. They come out of a herd that regularly matures between 550-600kg, develop neat, even udders and have a sleek coat in summer months. These heifers have had a four month joining period and are due to calve from mid-November through to mid-March. 14 heifers are registered, they can be found on the Hereford Australia database with herd identifier EWD: S032, S040, S042, S047, S048, S050, S051, S056, S061, S062, S063, S064, S073, T006. Stud names represented include: Fancy, Cherry Ripe, Empress, Clotilda, Dawn, Irabel, Neva, Adventuress, Lioness and Chief Lass. The 3 unregistered females originate from the stud female lines: Marshall Lass and Cherry Ripe, 2 are sired by Kanimbla Powertown and 1 by Quamby Plains Publican.
