A outstanding line of Angus Heifers with Angus calves at foot. These heifers were purchased from the Timor Cattle Company at Nundle in April and calved down at Newstead. The Heifers were exceptionally quite and easy to handle having been through an extensive induction program. All mothering was done in the paddock on horseback to reduce stress. The Heifers are showing good milk and doing a great job on their calves. They weighed 398 kgs at assessment and will power ahead on good nutrition. The calves are by low birth weight bulls from Eaglehawk and Hazeldaen studs and are between two and twelve weeks old. There are 8 bull calves and 10 heifer calves in this lot and the calves weighed 51kgs at assessment. Please note the Vendor has 3 lots of 18*18 Heifers and Calve sin this sale, which could be purchased as 1,2 or 3 decks of heifers and calves.
