WELL HANDLED COWS THAT WORKED THROUGH BASIC YARDS NICELY. COWS WERE PREG SCANNED FIRST THEN BROUGHT BACK THROUGH TO ASSESS AND ONLY 1 COW WAS A LITTLE UNSETTLED, BUT ALL SETTLED BACK NICELY TOGETHER.

18 VERY WELL BRED HAZELDEAN ANGUS COWS PTIC TO THEIR 3RD CALF. COWS ORIGINATED FROM HAZELDEAN STUD AT COOMA, THEY WERE PURCHASED AS RISING 2 YEAR OLD PTE HEIFERS. SINCE BEING UNDER THE BARLOW MANAGEMENT THEY HAVE RAISED 2 LOTS OF VERY GOOD CALVES, THIS YEARS CALVES AVERAGED 325 KG ON THE 17.4.24 AND AVERAGED $1108 MIXED SEXES. JOINED TO BILLAGLEN ANGUS BULL S31 FROM 31.10.23 UNTIL THE 8.3.24. ALL COWS ASSESSED WERE DEEMED OVER 4 MONTHS IN CALF TODAY AT PREG SCANNING. LARGER FRAMED COWS IN VERY GOOD CONDITON PRIOR TO CALVING.
