The vendors cattle are generally run in large mobs, the majority of these females handled well with just an odd heifer stirring when pressure was applied in small yards. Some females looked to exit the crush swiftly. None was aggressive.

The complete dispersal of Leonard Ryan's Hereford Herd. On offer are 18 Hereford females, 2nd calvers that are in the prime of their lives from the heart of the herd. They are PTIC to homozygous polled Hereford bull Newcomen Quoit Q12, to commence calving late March for 8 weeks. These young females showcase years of quality genetics that have been used and display maturity and softness with good length and depth of body. They have a weight range of 596 to 794 kg to average 660 kg curfewed. The Ryan generations have been breeding exceptional quality Hereford cattle in the Upper King Valley for 70 years. These classed in females all raised a calf last year and would complement any high-end Hereford breeding operation. Please note the entire Ryan herd are on offer in this sale with a total of 86 females.
