Cows mostly were a pleasure to handle through the yards. Two cows become slightly agitated while drafting & three cows become slightly agitated in the crush.

Acc. "Rosedale Nominees" 35 PTIC cows to be offered run out the gate (18 & 17). Property sold forcing herd dispersal. 2017 & 2018 Drop – 3rd & 4th Calvers. Cows were joined on 20/07/21 to the 27/10/21, to CC late April. Note calves have been weaned off cows a week prior to assessment thus reflecting the condition of the cows. These females are PTIC to Fernhill Angus bulls. Selection of bulls is a stringent process for the vendor with LBW, growth, structural confirmation & temperament all a key focus. In the past vendor had introduced Boss Indicus x Angus cattle into their breeding program meaning that there will be a percentage of these cows carrying Boss Indicus genes, this line has been drafted to phenotypically show strong Angus traits - Refer to media. Here arises an opportunity to secure a line of young future breeders with their lives ahead of them. Note 5hd had old pink eye scarring & of these 2hd had small scarring in both eyes. *Vendor offers another 4 lots in same sale*

Majority of these cows are vendor bred cattle however there is a portion of these cows that have been purchased & retained in the Rosedale breeding operation.

Some cows were observed to have lost tags which will be replaced at delivery. Also there were cows noted to already having orange NLIS tags.
Breeding Comments
Boss Indicus x infusion has only occurred from retained progeny that were bred from cows purchased in 2016. Vendor has strictly used Angus sires.
