These animals were PTIC just prior to assessment which made them hesitant to work comfortably throughout weighing. I would definitely say there is no harmful intention in their attitude and can be easily persuaded whilst drafting. These heifers reacted reasonably well to pressure whilst moving and applying a low stress method they did calm down quite extensively. Whilst taking photos in the paddock they were different animals, very quiet, stood still, inquisitive & walked around in a calm manor.

Assessor Comments
Comdain Pastoral of Whittlesea are offering a fantastic opportunity to purchase a very neat line of PTIC Angus heifers that are joined to a registered Connamara Angus Bull for an eight-week period to calve in the heart of Spring, allowing these animals to compliment an already existing operation or be a fantastic start to a new venture. These females were purchased out of feature sales held at the Yea & Pakenham sale centres targeting specific blood lines, comprising of two separate marks. As noted in the animal health section, there has been no expense spared when administering vaccines & drenches which gives a prospective buyer full confidence in purchasing a healthy animal. This particular lot of heifers are full of capacity, deep bodied and exhibit a real soft fleshy coat with strong muscle definition. Much like most of Southern Victoria, these animals are showing slight signs of lice rubbing on their brisket and shoulder, not deemed detrimental.
