Cows were quiet to handle in the yards. One cow became slightly agitated when in the crush however, settled quickly when released.

18 Station Mated 5 year old Angus and Black Baldy Cows with calves at foot. Cows have been station mated to an Angus Bull from 10/10/2022 to 09/01/2023. Cows avg. 527kg at assessment.
Calves present in fresh condition to avg. 214kg. 10 heifer calves and 8 steer calves. Marked the first week of December 2022.
Cows have been running on supered native pasture which is drying with seasonal conditions however, should respond well to fattening feed once calves are weaned. Considered ideal to grow out weaned calves and calve down cows before fattening to sell or returning to breeding operation.
Please note - One cow presents with old pink eye scarring in both eyes. One cow displays slight scarring in one eye.
Two steer calves have been marked with rings and are still carrying a purse. Not considered detrimental.
