These cows were excellent to handle with nothing getting excited up to the crush area where 3 cows only got unsettled on scales. Nothing got stirred up and once calves were returned to them they all settled immediately (see video)

Assessor Comments
A tidy line of Angus Heifers with 1st calf at foot and depastured back with a top quality Angus bull for 6 weeks. These heifers were originally purchased ex the breeder in Tamworth and calved down. They have excellent quality calves on them and have been running back with Kidman Bounty T70, a son of Dunoon Prime Minister for 6 weeks. The heifers are putting everything into their calves and are just picking up after a challenging winter. They are very good to handle. They weighed an average of 482kgs after an overnight curfew. There is more frame than weight. Lovely young units to boost herd numbers or trade as the calves have a good start. 7 of these are PTIC (4-7 weeks).The vet could not detect 11 of these in calf but that is understandable given the short period since the bull came out. Approx 4 heifers were observed with old pink eye scarring in one eye. The calves are fresh and average 180 kgs. The cows are in good store condition.
