A couple of cows were prone to baulk at gates, just trying us out, and a few played up a little in the crush mostly the ones we chose to mouth at random, otherwise they worked fairly well. Normal caution with big cows should be shown when introduced to a new home.

Assessor Comments
This lot of mixed age cows are big and healthy and active , but with their age and weight, about four are just showing a little foot problem here and there, possibly due to the very wet season. In saying that, as shown by their condition they are doing very well, and there would be younger cows amongst them. The cows were bought 2 years ago as 3 - 8 year olds. Joined to a Kenny's Creek bull, they will produce a good late spring calf and would certainly go on to another joining. There are 5 Apricots, 14 Blacks, 4 with some degree of horn, and a random sample of mouths are shown in the photos. One cow, with the crack in the foot, showed a little head bob as she jogged away from the yards which was almost impossible to spot as she slowed to a walk.
