Been running on a large acreage property they are true to their breed in the sense that they like to run to a gate. Quite good cattle to handle particularly considering they haven't been handled often.

Assessor Comments
A nice line of mixed aged predominantly Santa Gertrudis Cows with Shorthorn calves at foot. Bull has been continuously running with the cows and will be pulled out on delivery. Cows are doing a very good job with their calves and maintaining their own body weight in dry conditions. Please note there is one cow (the lightest one) with a twisted face. Also 3 Cows with long toes and the biggest steer calves have been cut late and still a bit swollen. They are ideal cattle for these dryer conditions and have performed well without any hand feeding.
