A nice line of well grown, station-mated Angus heifers with their first calf at foot, & a good chance of being back in calf to their second. Heifers are well developed, but are lacking in condition & subsequent weight, due to having access to only short wintery feed whilst nurturing a sappy drop of calves, which are starting to acquire good weight. 2 of these first calvers are mothers to twins & a 3rd has fostered an extra orphaned calf, in addition to her own. 3 calves in the mob are sired by Speckle Park bulls, with 2 throwing speckled in colour & 1 throwing black. Approx 7 steer calves are displaying "bully" heads. Cows & calves alike, are set to thrive with access to more abundant, longer pastures, & offer an excellent opportunity to secure a quality line of young Angus breeders which have calved unassisted to top quality Angus & Speckle Park calves. With prime old cows currently selling in excess of $4/kg, they offer real value & an attractive change-over into younger breeders.
