Assessor Comments
Full dispersal of the Langdown Park Pastoral Herd. A Genuine herd dispersal with the property sold. A Very neat line of V drop PTIC Heifers, Wirruna Poll Hereford blood, bred from a well managed herd. Wirruna Poll Hereford bulls have been used extensively in the herd. Heifers are in calf to WNAT145 are to commence calving 25th of July for 9 weeks. The vendors have previously used this bull over heifers and have not had any troubles giving them the confidence to use him again. The Heifers are currently grazing a short oat crop but are being managed as if the vendor was to calve them out themselves, PTIC Heifers are normally pulled of crop around the start of June to begin to prepare for calving. Quiet well handled heifers that were a pleasure to work with. All animal husbandry and management procedures on this herd have been carried out to a very high standard ensuring vaccines and drenches are always well up to date. There is 37 of the V drop heifers in total but are being sold split up into two lots of a 19 & 18 run out the gate. An Excellent opportunity to purchase females not usually offered to the market. Heifers that will go and make excellent herd Matrons into the future.
