Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Cattle handled well throughout assessment. All animals were mouthed through the crush and responded with minimal fuss. Being moved between multiple yards for videoing cattle still remained well mannered. There was the odd animal that became slightly agitated throughout the whole process but overall were a line of cows with good temperament.

Assessor Comments
On offer is a good quality line of 20 mature aged cows that are all pure Bongongo Blood and are PTIC to high indexing Bongongo Bulls. This line of cows are structurally very sound for their age and are in tip top calving order for when they begin in early June for 8 weeks. Vendor has been a closed herd for 20 years and has culled anything off the place that is empty straight after preg testing. So each of these cows have reared a calf successfully every year. Fertility and the low maintenance for this line of cows in particular are real highlights. As mentioned cows are in good forward order, after having weaned big calves off them only a fortnight ago and have been running in a fresh paddock, also having all health treatments up to date. This is a good, easy to manage article that show plenty of value being close to the point of calving whilst displaying excellent genetic merit. For any enquires please call assessor.
