The vendors cattle are generally run in large mobs, the majority of these females handled well with just an odd heifer stirring when pressure was applied in small yards. Some females looked to exit the crush swiftly. None was aggressive.

The complete dispersal of Leonard Ryan's Hereford Herd. On offer are 20 Hereford females, 3rd calvers that are in the prime of their lives from the heart of the herd. They are PTIC to homozygous polled Hereford bull Newcomen Stanley S057 to commence calving late March for 8 weeks. These females showcase years of quality genetics that have been used and display good maternal traits, have good length and depth of body with plenty of softness. They have a weight range of 618 to 896 kg to average 728 kg curfewed. The Ryan generations have been breeding exceptional quality Hereford cattle in the Upper King Valley for 70 years. These classed in females have proven themselves in the herd with fertility and doing ability on their calves and would complement any high-end Hereford breeding operation. Please note the entire Ryan herd are on offer in this sale with a total of 86 females.
