Vendor bred EU cows that have been preg tested in calf after a short joining.
The Rockvale herd was purchased by the vendors 10 years ago when they purchased the property. The herd then was a Shorthorn/Santa, Shorthorn Angus cross herd. In the last 9 years only Angus bulls have been used and the more Angus type females retained.
There is one Black Baldy type . The balance are black coated and may have a very little bit of ear and /or naval with Three having white under the belly. These cows are 75% or more Angus.
The herd is on a Pestiguard program and have had annual boosters.
