Comment on Fat Score 1 Cattle
Heifers are in good condition leading into calving not being over fat. Heifers are very strong and healthy from grazing hilly country with abundant feed, but would suggest not trucking over very long distance as they are getting closer to their calving period.

Assessor Comments
Buyers, 20 Angus heifers that have been preg tested by Piper street vet clinic. These heifers are very even in type and are in good condition whilst not being over done early on in their pregnancy. Heifers purchased early in the year at the TRLX Nutrien sale as blue tail tags PTIC to “low birth weight Angus bulls”. They were very good to handle at assessment and while vet was re preg testing them on the 6/5/21. These present a very good opportunity for the prospective buyer to purchase these heifers and getting calves on the ground from July through to August. Please note 1 heifer with a slight blue eye deemed not detrimental. 1 heifer has an old scare under jaw from grass seed and is in the assessment. PLEASE NOTE THAT 48 HOURS NOTICE TO LOAD PLEASE.
