Proper quiet cows worked through sound facilities and showed no temperament issues and also had been through the yards the previous day for preg testing and mouthing.

20 Angus cows 8 to 11 years old preg tested 22/1/24 (16 positive, 4 empty). Lawson Angus bred bull and Burenda blood, home bred Angus sire used. Average curfewed weight 474kg. Progeny of cows is 20 Angus calves (16 steers, 4 heifers) weighing 157kg full weight. Calves are by a Lawsons Angus stud bull. Cows are in strong condition producing ample milk for good fresh well grown marked claves which have had vaccinations at marking 14.12.2023. All mouthed 14 head show strong short teeth, 6 head show faulty broken mouth. Cows have 2 brands of different origin. Cattle were assessed on scales tested ok prior to weighing on good solid level base. Two blue eyes noticed no issues. No faults observed with no hips knocked, feet sound and udders look to be producing good milk supply. No mobility issues observed. Pregnant cows can be identified with a bang ring tail. Non detectable are bang tails. Buffalo Fly ear tags applied 05.01.2024. Bull in until delivery. No internal/external treatments.
