Assessor Comments
Outstanding Opportunity – Large Framed F1 Future Vealer Mothers B & C Halliday of Willow Crossing, Nariel Valley present a very special line of large framed F1 Merridale Angus cross PTIC heifers that offer genuine quality, performance and future breeding potential. These impressive vendor-bred females have been carefully developed and selected to become productive vealer mothers, combining the proven maternal strength of the Merridale Angus bloodlines with the added performance and hybrid vigour of the Brewer Black Simmental sire. The result is a very even and attractive line of heifers displaying excellent frame, length, capacity and femininity. They present in forward store condition and are ideally suited to both commercial breeding operations and producers looking to build quality maternal herds. These females are joined to commence calving from 15th July onwards for approximately 10 weeks, providing buyers with a tight calving pattern and the opportunity to secure a line of productive young breeders with many years ahead of them. Temperament throughout the group is a standout feature, with these heifers displaying a quiet and manageable nature, making them suitable for a wide range of production outcomes.
