These young cows were very good to handle in both the yards & crush. 1 heifer stirred up slightly when we were drafting.

A line of young 1st. Calf heifers that will present in strong store to very forward condition, are medium to large frame Charolais & Charolais X. They have 5-7 month old “Bowmont” blood Angus X calves at foot. The calves will present in strong store condition & are well grown. The heifers have been re-depastured to a “Bowmont” blood Angus bull for a 6 week calving, but were preg. Tested empty this morning before assessment.
1 heifer had a weepy eye at assessment & will be closely monitored at delivery, does not appear a problem.
The “Rosevale Ridge” cattle are well known & their weaners often are in the top averages at Ballarat’s December weaner cattle sales.
Great opportunity to purchase top genetics.
