HEIFERS ARE JOINED TO SPECIFICALLY SELECTED VERY LOW BIRTHWEIGHT LANDFALL STUD SIRES, WITH AN AVERAGE BW OF +1.9. THESE YOUNG FEMALES WOULD BE IDEAL ADDITION TO ANY HERD AND ARE JOINED FOR THREE WEEKS TO COMMENCE CALVING LATE MARCH. HEIFERS ARE BEING SOLD AS PART OF A WINTER MANAGEMENT STRATEGY WITH CURRENTLY TO MANY DSE ON FARM. AT ASSESSMENT NOTICED ONE HEIFER WITH WHITE ON HER FLANK, ONE HEIFER WITH A BLUE OLD PINK EYE SCARRING. ALSO OBSERVED ONE HEIFER WITH A SUNKEN EYE WHICH APPEARS TO HAVE NO VISION IN THAT EYE.
