Considering the facilities, heifers were very good to handle. General comment was that heifers were very quiet, with only 2 to 4 head (in total of 42 on offer) showing any run or pushiness in the drafting & weighing process. Heifers were very relaxed in holding paddock when taking media.

Assessor Comments
Offering 42 PTIC Angus as two drafts of 21 head run out the gate. Heifers are nicely presented, in principally forward store to forward condition. They have been joined to nice quality Angus sires featuring sire lines of Ardrossan Equator A241 to calve late July for 7 weeks. Heifers were acquired ex Western District Feature Sales last winter with this draft of 42 head having been selected from 220 head to join. They display good depth and bone and should mature into productive medium to larger frame matrons. Offered as two lots of 21 run out the gate, an opportunity to acquire well presented PTIC Angus heifers calving over a tight period.
