Cows were assessed straight after mustering. They became agitated while being worked throughout the yards while the calves were drafted off. Would block when required although plenty of room was given to them while being worked throughout the yards. They have always been handled by experienced stockman - inexperienced stockman may struggle working these cows. All settled when pressure was released and were good to walk around in the holding paddocks- no malice was shown although caution was used

A line of 5.5 - 6.5 year old Crossbred Cows with Their 3rd Angus Calf at foot, at assessment the cows weighed from 437-564kg to average 494kg full, with a projected delivery average of 469kg, the Calves at foot consisted of 10 Steers and 11 Heifers and weighed from 151-271kg to average 208kg. The cows present in a fresh store condition and are doing a good job on the calves, they have been running back to the same Angus Bull from the 1st October till 31st December. The Cows were purchased as weaner Heifers in 2021 from South East QLD. To assist with delivery the Vendor will deliver the Cows and Calves to the Tenterfield Saleyards- a minimum of 48 hours notice is required for this.
