Cows generally behaved well. They were yarded with other cows and calves overnight. They were weighed on a platform in the draft box and as such had plenty of room to move. The the few cows that did tail flick and stamp settled reasonably well once the pressure was relaxed and they were back in their mob.

A very good line of Hereford/ Poll Hereford Station Mated Cows and Calves. The cows are predominantly aged breeders, however their is two first calving heifers in the group. The cows are in forward condition and are carrying themselves well. On inspection most toes and feet were in very good order. The cows have been running with Bongongo Bulls, however due to timing of calving and a short scanning window they have scanned not detectable. Buyers should expect a reasonable amount to be in early pregnancy. Calves at foot are fresh and sappy. There is one cow in the group who is 'showing her age', she is doing a good job on her calf. Buyers please note the vendor has another 2 lots of PTIC cows in todays sale.
