Quiet, well-handled cows, worked well through a small and confined set of yards with only 2 cows becoming unsettled in the crush, both calmed once released and back with the mob. These cows are handled weekly being rotational grazed and regularly put through the yards.

A nice line of mainly Droughtmaster cross Cows and calves (20x20) and 2 PTIC cows. Speckle Park influence with all calves sired by a Speckle Park x Red Brangus Bull and 5 younger cows with Speckle Park breeding. The vendors have worked hard to put together a line of quiet, easy-handling cows, breeding easy-finishing offspring to supply their Paddock to Plate Pasture raised beef business. Steers and cull heifers from these cows are finished on grass for slaughter at around 450 kgs. Stock are located on the clean side of the QLD Tick Line with the vendors recommending buyers dip the cattle as a precaution if staying in the free zone due to past local outbreaks. No 9 cows and older were purchased from the ticks with the majority of cows being blooded as well. 1 cow with scarring around base of ears due to Lantana as a heifer. 1 heifer calf with a swollen navel that has been treated and inspected by vet. The vendor also has lots in the Weaner and Yearling sale.
