They present in strong forward condition and are in perfect order to go into calving with all females visually showing signs of being in calf and beginning to soften down. A rare opportunity to purchase "Marlex" females which are classed breeders not culls only on offer due to season and a need to reduce numbers from an age group. These young breeders are reaching the prime of their productive life and will continue to mature with age and have the potential to be large framed matrons of a herd. The Vendor has retained a strong focus on type, productivity, fertility and easy doing as their key principles of selection. The Marlex Herd of Hereford's has a wealth of Breeding commencing back in 1950 and has been a closed Herd since 1969. Breeding principles of functionablity and fertility are key elements of the Altschwager's program and have been proven successful.
