Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Cattle were supplementary fed through the last winter and are now extremely quiet and easy to handle through the yards. They were a pleasure to draft, I could easily walk between individual animals without causing a stir. This lot would suit a vendor looking for quiet, well-educated cattle with an excellent temperament that offer no fuss to handle.

Assessor Comments
A very good quality deck of 22 Angus x Angus cows 2.5 years old that have done an excellent job with their first calves, which were weaned at the start of April. These cows are back in calf after a 6-week joining, testing PTIC 4-6 months to Booroomooka and Te Dapa Angus bulls selected for their low to moderate birth weight, high 200 & 400 day growth and temperament EBVs. Cows are expected to calve from early September to the end of October. These cows are of a medium to large frame in forward store to prime condition heading into winter. They were supplementary fed through last winter and are now extremely quiet. All displayed excellent temperament when being assessed and were very easy to handle through the yards with no fuss at all. These cows would suit any commercial breeding program or a smaller-scale lifestyle operation looking for well-bred and quiet cattle. Please note there is one pink eye scar, 4 with white on the udder and 3 with a touch of white through the tail.
