A very well bred and presented line of August/ September 2019 & 2018 Drop PTIC Angus Cows. Ellendon's sire selection focuses on structure, fertility and above breed average 400 & 600 day weights. Feeder steers from the heard reach heavy feeder weights at 12-14 months.
Predominately Rennylea Blood, the vendor has been sourcing selected Rennylea bulls for a number of years. A portion of the cows were purchased as classed breeders during a herd building phase.
The cows present in forward store condition, some cows were noted to show small amounts of rub from lice. At pregnancy testing, cows were also assessed for structural and fertility soundness.
Cows to commence calving Feb 1st for 44 days. 1 x cow noted with a blemish on eye.
Buyers please note: group to be offered as a lot of x 21 and x 22. At delivery each purchaser will receive half of each age group.
Q53 noted to have an 8 inch scar on her near flank. This was a wound from weaning in 2020. She reared her 1st calf in 2021.
