Heifers had been through the crush just before assessment for a preg test so there was a small percentage slightly agitated once in the crush but all in all heifers handled it very well and were easy to process.

A neat deck of well bred heifers that are PTIC to quality Bald Blair bulls to suit heifers. heifers were bought as 10 -12 month weaners from Okeview pastoral holdings at scone. Heifers are all Dulverton genetics and showed great fertility going in calf in a very tight window of four weeks, to start calving in mid October. Heifers should continue to grow in good quality females given a rising plain of nutrition. Please note the odd heifer is showing old signs of lice or mite (deemed to be not active now). A regrettable sale only due to the tightening of the seasonal conditions. Please see another two lines of Angus PTIC heifers in the same sale that have a similar calving.
