22 Cows & Calves handled very sensibly through sound facilities. These stock were moved around a small yard several times for assessment and weighing and were released from yard and yarded again with no noticeable issues. These cows and calves were mothered prior to assessment and have been depastured in an adjoining paddock to the other mob account this vendor and any calves in correctly mothered will find correct cow.

22 composite type second calf breeding females with an average weight of 500kg full. Continually running with a Droughtmaster bull. No vaccines or parasite treatments have been administered. 11 Steer calves which were branded last week of December 2022 and elastrator rings were applied. 11 Heifer calves branded at the same time. All cattle were weighed on a level concrete floor in crush with scales tested prior to commencement of assessing and numerous times throughout. One creamy steer calf has noticeable deformed front legs, this does not affect his mobility. All cows were observed at assessment with no hips or old injuries noticed. The cows feet are sound and udders could not be seen as any faults. These cows are producing ample lactation and calves are benefiting. A couple of smaller calves noticed to be scouring from high quality nutrition. Cows and calves were mothered prior to assessment and to the best of our ability we were confident mothering is correct.

Serious health issues with vendor require this breeding herd to be sold on. Cattle have been grazed and run on small property since purchase and these females are genuine second calvers and had opportunity to the Droughtmaster bull continually.
