Assessor Comments
A very tidy line of 8yo Angus cows with Angus calves at foot & rejoined to the Nentoura Shorthorn sire. These cows originate out of the Hunter Bros herd at Lucindale & have annually produced wonderful angus calves with the heifer portion staying within the Coronary Park herd & the steers going to feedlots in mid winter at 10 months old. The cows present in strong heavy condition (700kg), good frame with bone, length of body and attractive feminine heads. They are solid on their feet but are showing some length of toe, typical of an 8yo cow. 2 cows each have 1 turned back foot & 1 cow has a slightly ruptured udder. A $200 / hd reduction will be removed from the final sale price for each of these 3 cows. They have had a full 6-7 week rejoining & appear to have accepted the bull well (not PTIC). The high quality calves at foot (230kg) are fresh to forward condition & carry very good weight for age. A very well bred line of potential 3 in 1's. Ideal to top up an existing quality herd.
