Assessor Comments
A nice line of well grown, station-mated Angus heifers with their first calf at foot, & a real chance of being back in calf to their second. These heifers are well developed, exhibiting good frame for age & plenty of stretch. They are producing good milk, which is evident in the marked & vaccinated calves at foot, which are 9-18 weeks of age & exhibiting excellent shape, with the vast majority being steers (14 steers/8 heifers). These heifers are displaying the characteristics & traits of being well bred, & are presenting in their working clothes due to a reduction in feed throughout a very dry Autumn. Cows & calves alike, are set to thrive with access to more abundant, longer pastures. A great opportunity to secure a quality line of young Angus breeders coming into the height of their production, which have calved unassisted to top quality Angus calves. With prime old cows currently selling well, they offer real value & an attractive change-over opportunity into younger breeders.
