Buyers these units were easy to handle and assess, the occasional cow being unsettled in the crush being assessed but once let out of the crush walked to the mob. A couple of cows were more alert than others when walking amongst the mob near their young calves. Please refer to my videos as part of my description.

Assessor Comments
Buyers please consider this line of 23 x 23 cows & calves, cull for age and would make ideal turnover units. After overnight curfew in the yards before assessment the cows weighed from 420 - 626 kgs and averaged 532 kgs whilst the calves weighed from 77 to 177 kgs to average 123 kgs. Please refer to my photos and videos as part of my description. The cows were pre treated with Dectomax pour on at assessment to assist with movement into tick free areas. These cows are only being sold due to cull for age and content and have quality Hatton Angus unmarked calves at foot (11 bulls, 12 heifers). Not rejoined so will make attractive turnover units or if desired join to the bull of your choice to get another calf. Approx third of the mob are vendor bred whilst the balance are purchased in cows. Please note a couple of cows are full horned and 1 cow has slight blue tinge in one eye. Cows have had 7 in 1 booster shot each year and are fly tagged at the start of each summer.

"Ridgeview" is on the Capricorn Highway East of Emerald. Good gravel road into the property although some patches of heavier soil near the yards are not wet weather accessible. Negotiable on delivery period if wet weather occurs.
