The majority of these females handled well through the weighing process. Some cows became agitated in the drafting process and when pressure was applied in small yards. A few cows looked to exit the crush swiftly and settled once back in the mob.

Ewenmar Herefords “Woonoona” Tooma offer as part of their 300x300 Cow & Calf herd dispersal (property sold), 23x23 2013 drop (7th Calvers) EU Accredited Hereford Cows & Calves. These females are proven breeders, have always had a calf, they still have plenty of longevity and would complement or lift any commercial Hereford herd. The herd has been culled hard over the years for temperament, fertility & structure with a high emphasis also placed on selecting bulls with 100% eye pigmentation on both eyes, moderate birth weight, high milk and high 600 day growth figures. I would describe these cows as predominately large frame showing tremendous length, thickness and phenotype. These cows have good vessels of milk and are doing an excellent job on their calves at foot. . Please note 2 cows with old pink eye scarring in one eye only, 1 cow with growth on eye, 1 cow with a swollen teat and 1 calf bow leg, refer to media. Please also note vendor has 8 other lots in the same sale
